Why Benefit Camp Aranu'tiq? http://www.camparanutiq.org/

Camp Aranu'tiq is a weeklong tuition-free camp for transgender and gender variant youth ages 8-15. Camp Aranu'tiq is the first organization of its kind in the United States and will take place in late August in Southern New England, but is drawing participants from all across North America.
Nick Teich, a licensed clinical social worker, is the founder and president of the camp. Nick developed the camp so that youth who are often stigmatized by their gender expressions may have a normal camp experience where their gender status is supported and celebrated. The camp is a federally recognized, 100% volunteer run, not-for-profit organization. All funds raised at this event will be donated to Camp Aranu'tiq to support their goal of a tuition-free camp experience and assist the travel costs of campers who could otherwise not afford to attend.
2010 welcomes the first group of campers with hopefully many groups to follow for years to come. All promotion and fundraising has taken place on a grassroots level, so your support is encouraged and greatly appreciated!

For more information on the camp and to donate directly through their secure website, please visit http://www.camparanutiq.org/ .
